Patio Tree Rose - Sunsprite

The weather here in Southern California has starting to see some summer type weather.
Here are some photos of one the patio tree rose called Sunsprite. It has produced this week the prettiest bouquet of yellow roses.

Photos of the vegetable area. Below is our first summer squash of the 2011 season. The seeds came from Botanical Interests. Called Straightneck Summer Squash "Cucurbita pepo". The tall tomato bush against the wall, some of the tiny tomatoes are starting to turn red. The Roma tomatoes bushes have a lot of green tomatoes and I can't wait for them to be ready.

The whole rose and vegetable area.
A photo of one of the roses we inherited this year.
The one raised bed. I also have a couple of Roma tomatoes planted here along with basil, bell pepper, jalapeno. Of course the marigold.

I need to sow more seeds of these. They are perfect to tuck in between the summer vegetables.

A few photos of the Mammillaria. What pretty bright pink flowers.

My garden is starting to grow faster now that the weather has become warmer. Can't wait to see what this summer season brings.
Thanks for your visit and have a great day.

What beautiful yellow and orange roses in your header pic! Your gardens are so tidy and beautiful! Lots of love going on there! I agree with you on those zinnias for planting around in between the vegies...so pretty for a splash of color!
