More Garden Photos From the Weekend

Here are the last photos of May.  It has been a wonderful month for my roses.
A beautiful "sweet surrender" rose.  The "blue boy" cornflowers make a nice backdrop.
 "Sweet surrender" rose bud.
This rose bush is having a great year so far.  A lot more blooms this year.

 My sweet Opie.

The summer garden is growing nicely.  What a difference from this post of April 28th, here. About one month from that post to now.
I planted zinnia in between the vegetable and roses.  They are the "art deco" zinnia, some purple tones.  We shall see what I get.
In my raised bed.  I have some container sunflowers, bell pepper, jalapeno, pinwheel zinnia, and a couple of eggplants.
Three types of sunflowers are planted here; container "junior", goldy honey bear and mammoth grey stripe.  This will be a first for sunflowers planted in this area.

A nice cluster of "sunset celebration" roses.
Here is the whole rose bush of the "sunset celebration".
Last photos of  "sweet surrender" rose and rose bud.
Thank you for your visit and have a wonderful day.

I love that saying about flowers it is so true! Such a lovely picture of Opie too. Your roses are looking wonderful against the backdrop of the cornflowers. I have given up with zinnias the slugs and snails decided they were their favourites too! Such a shame as they were so colourful!
