An Easter Blessing to you.

"Our Lord has written the promise of the resurrection, not in books alone, but in every leaf in Spring time." - Martin Luther

May all the wonders of Easter bring a smile to your heart.

Easter Cards:

Images are part of 12 x 12 cut up sheet by "Splash of Color, LLC
Used a few different sheets of paper from K&Company Brenda Walton ""Flora & Fauna" specialty paper pad and Pinkpaislee "Butterfly Garden" collection (12 x 12 sheets "dew drops" and "botanical gardens").
I also used to give the papers some texture an embossing folder.  Sentiment is a rubber stamp by Impression Obsession, Inc. #B6449. Added some Stickles to give some sparkle here and there to the images.

I am enjoying as much of the outdoors as I can before the real heat arrives.  We did have a few day of 90 degree weather.

In my patio area, it is nice to sit out and enjoy the blooming containers.

The maple trees look very nice with a lot more leaves this time around.

I purchased a six pack of "sonata" cosmos.  They will grow to 2 ' to 3 feet tall.

I planted the "sonata" cosmos along the narrow bed next to our garage.  I hope they will fill in this area.
"Sweet Surrender" roses.  The next photo shows the full bloom of the flower.

These tri colored yellow and orange roses are the show stoppers in the garden at the moment.

The containers in my patio area.

Early this year Hubby moved a few of my roses.  This is the brilliant pink iceberg rose bush that was moved from the front of my house to the rose area.  It has never looked so good. A more fuller look and I do see the buds starting to form. I think it needed a lot more area to grow.  I can not wait to see what it will do in it's new area.

Opie is loving being out in the back yard.
The early mornings and late afternoons are his favorite times to be outside.

A couple of photos of my new tree roses that has started to bloom.
"The Trumpeter" by Star roses & plants.
It looks so pretty on my front porch.

Thank you for stopping by.
Have a wonderful April.

Your garden is already looking wonderful with gorgeous roses in bloom. I cannot wait to see my roses flowering again, but we have to be patient, they are just pruned. Sigh.....
The Cosmos will fill up that spot against the white wall completely and will look great.
Wish you a Happy Easter and lots of garden pleasure in April!

Hello Bobbie Lynn,

What a delightful post today. Your garden is looking so wonderful. Glad the rose has taken of that was replanted, it is always a worry when transplanting but it seems to be in the right spot. The cosmos are beautiful plants and they remind me of fairy's dancing when they are in full bloom.
Have a happy and holy Easter, enjoy the time over the break. Plus a special hello to Opie.

Happy days.
