Projects To Share With You

Here are a few various cards that I have made over the past couple of months.

These two  cards I used  some K and Company paper and embellishments from their collection (an older collection) called "Olivia Rose".
I used book paper for layering and some various stamps.

These cards were made using Recollections paper pad called "Regent Street".
I just used an assortments of various stamps and die cuts.

It was nice to use some of my old K& Company transparent  embellishments.

I used my Martha Stewart score board to make the lines.  I wanted some extra texture on my background paper.

This was a super simple card using a 3-D sticker that I picked up at Target store $1.00 bin. An embossing folder, ribbon and stamped sentiment.  I also had perfect tiny embossing folder to emboss the envelope.
These next to photos show cards made using beautiful paper from DCWV.  It is their "Mariposa" paper pad. The beautiful images are from a 12 x 12 sheet filled with 2" x 2" postage stamp like images.  Ribbon from my stash.

The ribbon was a perfect color but I wanted to soften it a bit.  I used a gold leaf pen here and there on the ribbon.

NEW LOOK PATTERN
#6184

pleats

Lapped zipper.  I found a great video, love it.    I have had problems putting in lapped zipper and this is a foolproof.
From a wonderful blog called Rosie Wednesday, here.

Kick pleat

I really like the way this dress turned out.  This was my second dress that I sewed from this pattern.  The first dress was a bit to big in a couple of areas, but the adjustments were simple to do.  I'm very happy with the pattern.
I will be making the other View from this pattern.

Now on to a home decor project.

(BEFORE)

I have purchased two wooded shelved a very long time ago from Target.
They have been very handy though out the years and one of them I have used in my laundry  room.
Hubby  is painting the room for me and so I wanted to give my little shelf a new coat of paint.

 (AFTER)

I have been wanted to do a painting project using chalk paint.
This shelf was the perfect project.
The paints that I used: Americana Decor Chalky Finish, color Lace
I also used the clear wax by the same company.

Thank you for your visit.
Have a wonderful day.
Blessings

Hello Bobbie Lynn,

Once again your card making amazes me, your ideas and colours go so well together. I am in love with the fabric you chose for your dress, the little kick pleat at the back is great, I didn't know that name at all. Your Target stores do sell some wonderful things in it. The shelf makeover is lovely, the chalk paint is beautiful.

Happy days.
Bev.
