The Patio Area

In my patio this year, was amazing.  The amazing colors from the blooming roses and geraniums provided a beautiful look in my patio this year.  I was a very happy girl.

This is the Pink Peace rose bush that needed to be transferred in the a large container.  The bush did not do well at all in full sun.  Under the patio area and in a container I could move it around to give it the perfect sun light it needed.  So happy the blooms on it this time around were beautiful and super pink too!

This little mini rose just bloomed like crazy.

It was my happy place this summer.

Now little by little I will be repotting all my containers with new soil.  A few will need new containers.  This will take a while but it needs to be done.  I try to do this every two years.  A few may go another year.  That depends on the size of container they are in currantly.
The weather here in Southern California has been beautiful.

A first year for this potted hydrangea plant.   Hubby had  propagated some new shoots last year from one of our older plants.  It had a pretty good year.  Next year will be interesting to how well it will do.

I should follow your example in changing the soil in pots every two years. It must have been wonderful to sit on the patio surrounded by so many beautiful roses. Sarah x
