Gardening In December

The pansies and the nasturtiums add some needed punch of color to the back yard.  Trimming back the roses, it looks bare out there.

Our Alpine strawberries are starting to fruit.  We really need to thin out this area.  The plants have sent out so many runners this time.

Pillow Fight roses.  I edited the photo using on of the i-phone filters for a soft look.  It kind of gives a winter look.

Last Blooms For Now

The last blooms for now, but I hope next year will be more to share.  The white roses are called, Pillow Fight. The orange roses, Tuscan Sun and of corse the very pretty Pincushions.
Now is the time for my roses to take their rest, a short one here in Southern California.  I will be trimming them back and start the needed task of repotting a lot of my containers.
The plan is to start sowing in March.
